The therapies in SAI BALAJI CANCER CLINIC are done entirely based on scientific guidelines, like NCCN and ESMO. We at SAI BALAJI CANCER CLINIC strongly believe that the person afflicted with cancer is more important than the cancer itself. So, we intend treating the person as a whole, and not just his / her tumor.
People diagnosed with cancer, and their families, undergo a lot of psychological stress like Fear, Anxiety, Depression and a sense of Helplessness. Management of cancer is incomplete without addressing these issues. Hence, we, at SAI BALAJI CANCER CLINIC, focus in providing a strong psychological support and encouragement to cancer patients and their families or care givers. This is carried out in our centre by Dr.V.Kalarani, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D, who is a qualified Psycho oncologist, and trained in Adyar Cancer Institute. She is one among the few in the city private sector, specialised and dedicated to this field.
The SAI BALAJI CANCER CLINIC has a Day-care Chemotherapy administration centre. This is an Air-Conditioned centre with beds, to facilitate administration chemotherapy to our patients. The latest and the most advanced chemo therapy medicines are provided here at a cheap and an affordable cost. The Day-Care Centre provides good quality treatment in a homely atmosphere. We make sure that our patients are comfortable, Mentally and Physically, while undergoing Chemo-Therapy sessions. The Day-Care chemotherapy centre is served by well trained oncology staff and personnel to ensure safety and comfort to our patients. Located at the heart of the city, the SAI BALAJI CANCER CLINIC and the DAY-CARE CHEMOTHERAPY CENTRE, is well connected by Road and Rail (MRTS).
We conduct monthly meetings for our survivors (The Winners). It is conducted on 4th Saturday of every month, between 3 and 5 p.m. Counselling, Yoga Mudhras, and Meditation Techniques are taught free of cost in these meetings.

- A lump is cancerous only if it is painful No. Cancer is never painful in its early stages. In fact, a painless ulcer in the mouth or a painless lump in the breast is more likely to be cancerous.
- Cancer treatment is painful No. Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy never induce pain. In fact, they are intended to relieve the already existing cancer pain in advanced cases. However, some chemotherapy medicines (taxanes), hormonal agents (Aromatase inhibitors) and supportive medicines (Filgrastim), can cause mild, tolerable, generalised body ache after administration. They can be easily managed with Paracetamol.

- Sugar increases cancer risk No. All cells of our body need sugar to survive. Consumed sugar is not specifically taken up by cancer cells alone. Reseaches do not support the view, that avoiding sugar shrinks or prevents cancer. On the contrary, it makes a person with cancer weaker, making him unfit for cancer treatment.
- Acidic diet promotes cancer No. Taking an acidic or alkaline diet will not alter the blood PH. Neither will it change the environment in which cancer cells grow. Therefore, the alkalinity or acidity of ones diet cannot induce cancer or change its biology.
- Superdiets and miracle No. Vitamins and antioxidants in general may prevent cancer. But research till date has not identified any specific super diet or an exclusive miracle remedy to cure all forms of cancer.
- Medical and Drug companies
suppress remedies for cancer Absolutely wrong. Cancer research is being conducted world wide by innumerable companies, cancer centres, labs, and drug pharmas. There are millions of staff and doctors employed in them. It should be understood that the executives, administrators, staff doctors themselves and their near and dear ones suffer from cancer. Leaders of powerful nations become victims of cancer. Such being the case, there is no justification for a cancer remedy to be hidden or suppressed. - Cell phones and power lines
